Marthinus Rademeyer
Winemaking is such an interesting and energetic industry that Marthinus Rademeyer had no other choice to choose winemaking as a career.
After matriculating he chose to enroll at Cape Institute of Agricultural Training: Elsenburg, where he studied for 3 years and graduated in 2006.
He then went on to work a harvest season in the Klein Karoo at Montagu Cellars. When the harvest season finished he decided to pack his bags and explore the international wine industry starting with Ferrari Carano Winery, California; USA. During this period he got appointed as an Assistant Winemaker at Montagu Cellar. In August 2008 Marthinus decided to go to France where he worked in a small boutique winery, Chateau Boutisse in St. Emillion, harvesting only Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Marthinus joined the Bonnievale Cellar team in December 2009.
